Jesse Kissel is an American Conductor, Orchestrator, Arranger, Musical Director, and Pianist.
Adept at a broad range of styles, he has worked with many award-winning composers, including Marc Shaiman, David Shire, Alan Menken, and his long-standing relationship with John Kander.
Broadway credits include Chicago, The Visit, Days of Wine and Roses, The Cher Show, Leap of Faith, Spiderman: Turn Off the Dark, Cirque Du Soleil's Paramour, Bright Star, and Ragtime (Avery Fisher Hall 15th Anniversary Concert). Off-Broadway credits include Kid Victory (The Vineyard), Fountain of You (NAMT), and Classics Gone Mad! (Classic Stage Company).
National and International productions include Chicago (Australia, Dubai, Japan), Kid Victory (Signature Theatre, DC), The Visit (Williamstown Theatre Festival), The Scottsboro Boys (Center Theatre Group, LA), Titanic (MUNY), and Cats (MUNY).
Jesse is an Emmy Award Nominee as Producer and Arranger of “The Randy Rainbow Show” on YouTube. He is also a 2023 Grammy Award Nominee as Executive Producer and Arranger of “A Little Brains, A Little Talent” by Randy Rainbow.
A sought after stage partner in the cabaret and concert world, Mr. Kissel has travelled with Randy Rainbow, Live! (Live Nation Tour), TOVAH: Out Of Her Mind (Tovah Feldshuh), Aaron Lazar (The Kennedy Center, Birdland, 54 Below, and Joe’s Pub), and Tori Scott. He’s had the honor of performing with the American Pops Orchestra, Boston Pops, and Naples Philharmonic.
Jesse holds a B.F.A. from Boston Conservatory, and an M.M. from Cincinnati Conservatory of Music in Orchestral Conducting.
